Search with Google Reader

After quite a bit of time, you can now search within your feeds in Google Reader. This is probrably the most wanted feature since the debut. To be honest, I am not impressed at all. I did a search for Craig, and of course got thousands of hits. I read a few posts, and to be honest, if I did the same search after a few hours, I couldn’t tell you which I read and which I didn’t. It is like they rushed it out the door two days after a product launch versus several years.

I noticed the search bar this morning, and of course my mind went blank as to what to search for. Just about 10 minutes ago, I sat down at my computer after lunch, and I am still waiting for it to load. I am not Scoble or anything, I have 120 or so feeds, which are mainly news sources, so what is up with the wait time?

Earlier today I did notice it was running a bit clunky, but didn’t think anything of it. Just minutes ago my browser timed out trying to load Google Reader. I am using IE7 on T1 connection. This is the first time in years I got a 404 error from Google.

Is anybody else having problems?
