Google Image Labeler
While I was browsing my feeds, I found that Google launched a new feature of Google Image Search, called Google Image Labeler. You get paired up with a random person who is also on the site, there is an image that gets displayed on the screen, and you guess keywords for it. Depending on how good the keyword is, you get 50 to 150 points for a match.
You get 90 seconds total to get through as many pairs of images as you can. (Note: The main page states that you get two minutes, but the help page says 90 seconds.) This feature was first made from Carnegie Mellon University, and it improves Google’s image index on each match. Also if you are logged in, your total points are kept track of. Currently, I have just under 21,000 points, which are not worth anything. Maybe they will in the future?
