A few minutes ago I was browsing feeds and talking to a friend. As a side note, I am on a laptop and I cause the mouse to travel at times due to the way I type. I also have tap-click also enabled. While I was typing I made the cursor move, and activated tap-click, the cursor just happened to have landed on the Mark All as Read button. Oops, there goes those stories, but so far I have gotten over 50 new stories since. Starting fresh and new may not be so bad.
